Hotel U Zlateho kola (The Golden Wheel)****, Prague.
This small romantic hotel is located in the picturesque street called Nerudova in a historical part of the centre called “Mala Strana”. It is still these days the most beautiful and frequented way of Mala Strana. It forms a part of the famous "Royal route" which connects the historical centre of Prague. The building named "At the Golden Wheel", originally dates back to the XIV. century and went through lots of repairs and modification during centruries. The actual appearance of the hotel building is a result of a carefull restoration with the purpose of renewing its original splendor. The hotel was opened in December 2003.

This hotel offers 17 luxuriously furnished guestrooms with warm and pleasant atmosphere. Each of them has its own indistinguishable charm and is situated either in the principal building or in the fascinating Baroque villa in the courtyard. The two wings of the hotel building are connected between each other through two comfortable elevators and there is an enchanting stairway that brings you to a relaxing garden bordering with the old boundaries of the Prague Castle. From the upper floors the guests can enjoy the breathtaking view over the castle or the Petrin Hill and surely on the famous red roofs of Mala Strana.

All rooms are provided by minibar, TV sat, internet connection and the attic part is also supplied with air-conditioning. There are 11 standard double rooms, 4 Superior, 1 Junior Suite and 1 Attic Suite with castle view. In some of the hotel rooms can be found ceilings of wooden painted beams or Baroque stuccoes ceilings.

On the ground floor there is an air-conditioned Cafe Bar Arcadia where the breakfast is served to the hotel guests. Interior is enriched by baroque ribbed vaults tastefully completed by modern furniture. Café offers a pleasant pause while tasting a cup of great Italian coffee together with some delicious salads, fresh sweet desserts or Italian specialities.
